| 11/20/03 - On my second group of trips I have had almost all
round trips which, as you can see, makes a huge difference. I have also been
able to share motels and other expences on a lot of these trips. But I have
turned down a few runs because I now know they will not average $10+ per hour,
those runs are then given to the 'new' drivers (which I was on my first group
of eight runs.) In addition to these trips there were also many trips where I was either paid either $100 <> a day OR ... where the company paid a lower rate per mile, but paid for all fuel. These runs can pay as little as $8 per hour, and up to $12 if you can share motels and rental cars. NOTE #1: The 'After Expences' column includes "on the road expences" ... it does not include any food, cell phone costs, fuel to / from local pickup location, taxes or an other misc expences NOTE #2: The 'Pay Per Hour' column is the milage, found by using 50 mph both directions, except on my round trips.
