Funeral Services for Justin M. Boettcher, age 19, of Cambridge, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 22, 2002 at Cambridge-Isanti High School Performing Arts Center.

Visitation will be held 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 21st at Cambridge Funeral Home - Strike Chapel.

2002 CIHS graduate killed in car crash.

Justin Mathew Boettcher, a 2001 Cambridge-Isanti High School graduate, was killed early Tuesday morning, March 19, when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a power pole in Bradford Township.
Emergency personnel responded to the call at approximately 3 a.m. Boettcher's vehicle was heading north along Isanti County Road 52 when he lost control on the icy roads.
Boettcher was fatally injured and trapped inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene
Justin is the son of Marina and Dennis Peterson of Cambridge and Jim and Bridget Boettcher of Lakeland. He had lived in Isanit County his entire life.
Funeral services were held at the CIHS Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 22 at 11 a.m. (See full obituary on 'For the Record' page in this edition of the STAR).

Justin Matthew Boettcher, 19, of Cambridge, died March 19, 2002 as the result of an auto accident in Bradford Township, rural Isanti.


Funeral services were held March 22 at the Cambridge-Isanti High School Performing Arts Center with Gaylen VanLoon and Brad Holman officiating. Brian Lahr was also a speaker. Music was provided by Denise Boettcher, Dan Codner, Debbie Covlin, and Aaron Sorenson. Pallbearers were Brandon, Daniel and Andrew Boettcher, Eric, Nathan, Ryan and Travis Behrend. Honorary pallbearers were Ashley Boettcher, Keith Becker, Nathan Bostrom, Jason Dissing, Josh Donner, Matt Henderson, Chris Immel, Brian Lahr, Jeff Lenzen, Dusty Lindner, Michael Massa, Jimmy, Jonathan, Matthew and Mike Peterson, Jeremy Rock, Ben Sayotovich, Jason Schulz, Aric Sorenson, Ryan Sutherland, Matt Ziebarth, and Brad Zilmer. Interment was in Isanti Union Cemetery.

He was born October 2, 1982 at Fridley to Marina and James Boettcher. He had always lived in Isanti County. He lived on a farm for 14 yeas and then five years ago they moved to Skogman Lake in rural Cambridge. Justin graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School, Class of 2001. He worked in various jobs between farming and construction. Justin was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Marina and Dennis Peterson of Cambridge; father and step-mother, Jim and Bridget Boettcher of Lakeland; brothers, Brandon, Danny and Andy Boettcher, all of Cambridge; sister, Ashley Boettcher of Cambridge; step-sisters, Amy and Renee Breault of Lakeland; grandparents, Ray and Marilyn Marsh of Isanti, Vernon and Fern Boettcher of Stacy, Lester and Mary Jean Peterson of Pengilly, Henry and Eve Clark of Roseville, Sharon Bartlett of Stillwater; niece, Emmalee Breault of Lakeland; special little cousins, Emily Behrend, Nicholas Miska, Maddie and Taylor Ouellette, Mitchell and Reed Peterson, Ethan, Jadan and Sadie Sorenson.

There is a memorial fund for Justin at MinnCO Credit Union.
